Mount Brown Estate Collection

From raw material to finished product, the Mount Brown collection is inspired by the colour palette of grapes and wine.  From champagne, to the whites, through the rose's, to pinot noir and ending with the deep robust reds and purples.  From the first hooded 1970's wedding dress to the last purple silk 1930's boned gown; the pieces were chosen to signify light and liquidity, structure and depth.

This collection is dedicated to our Common Threads wine sponsor Mount Brown Estates; a sustainable, local, family owned vineyard and winery in North Canterbury who make damn fine wines.  We are grateful for the generosity of Catherine Keith and her team.  A thoroughly enjoyable collaboration.

Great wine comes from having care for – and control over – the whole process from vine to bottle.
From discovering an abandoned vineyard in the foothills of Mount Brown, to planting on fields of the old Lime Loader site in Waipara Valley, North Canterbury; the wine Mount Brown Estates produces
begins with a love for the land and ensuring their activities are sustainable.
Their award-winning wines capture the essence of North Canterbury. From full bodied and luscious Pinot Gris; crisp and fragrant Sauvignon Blanc; delightfully citrusy Riesling; to intense dark cherry Pinot Noir – all Mount Brown Estates wine is estate-grown, made and bottled.
